Jewellery
Karen McClintock (featured at the
right) is a Canadian jewellery designer whose custom jewellery
designs are carried exclusively in Ontario in select Holt
Renfrew locations, Shepherd's in Ottawa and now in the St.
Jacobs location of La Creme Stores. Her unique designs feature
sterling silver mixed with a wide range of semi-precious stones.
The necklace shown on the right features an ancient coin,
dated 1320, and is a two-strand necklace that can be worn
three different ways. Stones include garnet, rock crystal,
iolite, Swarovski crystal, smoky quartz and pearls. The pieces
are custom made and are absolutely stunning. Many of the necklaces
can be worn in a variety of lengths and can also be detached,
thus giving the wearer a choice of one, two or three strands.
From $42.95 for earrings, from $125.00 for bracelets and necklaces
in the $300.00 range. Only in the St. Jacobs location.

Want a perfect way to hide away your treasures? Called 'Hidden Treasures', this fantastic jewellery storage solution is easy to install - looks great on the wall as a beveled mirror (see photo on right), but magically slides open to reveal a shallow black box, lined in velvet to store your necklaces, earrings, bracelets and rings. $149.95 at any La Creme Store.
